The pens do work, but there’s a frustrating nuance that matters for dosing. To check accuracy, I measured 10 clicks (a click is supposedly one unit). Using water as the test substrate, each pen dispensed a variable weight—usually 65 to 85 percent of the intended dose, which is unacceptable. The interesting part: when I pushed the plunger faster than most people would want to inject, accuracy jumped to 95 to just over 100 percent, which is accurate enough for what I’m using them for. Beyond the accuracy issues at normal injection speed, 2 of them are noticeably less smooth than the others.
